Maple Hills Phase V: Homeowners approve annexation

This exciting venture spans approximately 5.20 acres of untouched terrain, accessible via the terminus of 204th Place SE. Picture this: 22 charming single-family lots, a dedicated recreation area, three exclusive access paths, a lush open space with its resident trees, and a crucial buffer tract—transforming the landscape.

Leading this endeavor is Brookfield Properties, a name synonymous with quality and innovation. The City of Covington and Brookfield have accepted our invitation to incorporate Maple Hills Phase V into our homeowners' association. The rationale? It's simple. With the sole entry point to these new homes through Maple Hills, our board believes this alliance is a strategic step forward.

Here's the catch: we require the endorsement of more than half of our homeowners for this union to be official. Forget about gathering everyone in one room; we've streamlined the process. In October, your board members embarked on a mission, knocking on doors to collect signed ballots. Of the 145 ballots required to validate the annexation, the board collected 147 approvals.
