Association meetings
The board is planning to set up official board meetings to be held quarterly, but we have struggled with finding an adequate place to meet and efficient ways to communicate with all homeowners. We recently learned that Senate Bill 5011 took effect on July 26 and permanently allows remote meetings and voting by mail; it will also authorize electronic notices to homeowners on an opt-in basis.
This is good news for Associations, making it much easier to have meetings and vote. This will also enable us to go green and send out the newsletter to homeowners electronically. Attached to this newsletter is a form entitled, GENERAL AUTHORIZATION FOR ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION. Please download and complete the form and return it to one of the board members listed below.
